Hi, Im heading to Montpellier for the Summer and Marseille airport seemed to be the best place to fly to. Flights are booked now anyway but having difficulty finding how to get from Marseille airport to Montpellier. I know there are trains but where do I need to go to get the train and how do I get there?

Also what the best way to book the trains as I know they can be very expensive buying them on the day of travel...

Any info would be great thanks.

There's a bus from the airport to Marseille St. Charles station every 20 mins, and to Aix en Provence TGV every half hour. There's a yellow train ticket selling machine at the bus terminal at Terminal 1 of the airport.

Marseille to Montpellier is a local train, so you can expect tickets to be about 30 euros, and you won't save much by buying them in advance, maybe 5 euro.
