    Hi Guys,
Are these all pretty much standard price to/from all ports all year round?
Im getting about 330euro return with 1 passenger in a car.
    Are there ever any sales/deals?
Dont overly care where i depart/arrive
    Thanks!

I am at €380 with car and 3 kids

Interested to see what deals there are.

The OP said "Dont overly care where i depart/arrive"

Some of us can drive to Belfast without getting our feet wet.

If you sail (North or South) from this island, to the large island next door, then you are sailing to Britain.

We always sware by Stena Line, usually Dun Laoghaire - Holyhead, but sometimes Rosslare - Fishguard. Price is usually competitive with a car, staff are nice & well informed, food is good. Admittedly its been three years since we last sailed to Britain, but we like them. > Recommended.

While often the cheapest ferries are the NI<->Scotland routes, your ultimate destination in the UK is also important - for example, if you were going to Liverpool as your final destination, it's over 200 miles between there & Stranraer -- which once you add the additional fuel costs of having to drive the return 400 mile journey makes it much more economical to just take the Dublin/Dun Laoghaire options (not to mention the 8 hour round trip driving!)...similarly if you are heading to the south of England, it's usually best to take the Rosslare/Cork options.

Also - the prices change substantially depending on when you plan to travel - the summer months are generally more expensive. They do occasionally have deals alright, but they aren't as prevalent as with the airlines.

I can't see why it's ever better to use Cork - Swansea. It's a long ferry and expensive.

It's long - but it's overnight, so you can just sleep through it. As for the price - I've seen it running about the same price as the other routes, the only thing is if you want a seat rather than a cabin you have to book a good bit in advance.
