Credit union shares question (Loan out)

    I already have a loan out with the credit union, but need a lump sum of cash and fast .... can I take my shares out ?

    Think that the amount is shares you have in the credit union cannot be lower than the loan or something along those lines.

    you cannot take out shares below the amount you agreed or required to keep in your account when you first took out your loan.
