    hey all!
just wondering if there are any casterboarders in ireland?

a casterboard is a two wheeled board that uses angled caster wheels to propel the board without touching the ground

people might know them as ripstiks and waveboards but these are just brandnames

if you are interested in starting or you are a casterboarder already then feel free to ask any questions

i know where to get boards in ireland for the best prices and i do upgrades and maintenance

and i could help you with tricks

I think all the castorboarders got wiped out in a violent confrontation with an extreme underground snakeboard gang last year.
It was like the ditch fight at the end of "Thrashin" from what I hear!

these are sometimes called waveboards? the ones that are paddle shaped and split in the mioddle with a twist torsion bar? a gimmick type of thing imo.

i think the Freebords are better, mor e mix of snow boarding, surfing, longboarding and skating. we can get the full setups too from our supplier.

I would be very interested in a junior version

My son had a go on holidays so information for an 8-12 year olds board would be good

Obviously not too high spec, but would support a B&M before buying from amazon or sportsdirect

    Hey lads,
I'm new to all this, and after recently trying out a caster board, I loved it, and have since gone looking for a decent one to purchase
Which brands would be better, etc?
While I don't mind skateboarding, I can't for the life of me use one properly :P
I'd also like to do tricks on casterboards, for something unique at a skatepark ;)
All help will be appreciated :)
    Thanks

You shouldn't be using a castorboard in a public skatepark the insurance only covers skateboards.
