Job application question:

I know before asking that this is an exceptionally stupid question. But when jobs are advertised quoting a box number, how does one apply for them?

Last year when I was job hunting I just put the box no on an envelope and sent them off. However they were returned to sender due to it being an invalid address, and I never bothered enquiring as one of the other cv's i sent out resulted in a job. . . . . but now there are some jobs relevant to me being advertised and I would like to know how to apply for them.

    Any help is gratefully appreciated.

You send it to the paper's address with the box number as the first line of the address.

Cheers. Im assuming if they are giving box no's as opposed to the school address that the jobs are gone but that they need to advertise them legally but dont want the hassle of having to open the envelopes and throw them out.

Its worth a punt though on the off chance.

Nope, I got an interview for a school that used a PO Box a few years ago. It was for a permanent job which to me would be more of an indication that the job was already gone, but it wasn't.

And I know that a school that advertised recently using a PO Box has an actual job going.

Loads of jobs in the Indo today btw.
