How to get BBC Red Button access

Just wondering if there's any way for me to view the BBC Red Button service on my TV? I currently have the Magnet TV service and the entire apartment complex is locked into using them. I've enquired about getting Sky and been shot down completely so my only option is using Magnet and they do not provide the Red Button service.

I currently use a UK proxy to view it on my computer but I'd prefer to watch the service on my TV.

Is there any kind of box I can get to let me watch this? Legal ways I'm talking about! What about that Saorview?

I'm not allowed to put a satellite dish on my balcony either so any sort of dish solution is not an option.

I'm based in Dublin 18/South County Dublin.

I dont think its strictly legal for apt complex management to enforce a penalty on residents who fly in the face of their no dish policy who go about getting a SKY dish. A work colleague of my brother with an apartment complex in Adamstown and fed up of magnets limitations has the same restrictions as yours. He needed to get planning permission and even then the management company were hassling him although they eventually simmered down.

Same no dish restrictions applied in my sisters new estate in Applewood Swords a number of years ago but the residents formed a residents committee and the power of the people made management relax their stance and soon enough the SKY dishes were going up. Im sure your not the only one who wants sky so maybe you should take this route as a means to approach your management company with a collective voice?.

Without a satellite dish you wont get them on a television.

with apartments you only own th eair space, the managment company own the building so even with planning permission they can still stop you.
