For anyone that's interested, attached is the new look Accord prices and brochure. Unfortunately, the Type S 180PS model isn't priced but I'd expect it to come in around the EX range

Nice one...your timing is spot on. Just about to pick up my 2008 (new model) today.:D

Brochure no worky. EX is still well overpriced at over €38k - and why the **** is it in a higher VRT band than the other models?

If the EX diesel polluted just 1 g/km less of CO2 it would be in band B!

The higher CO2 is likely down to the fact that it has 17 inch wheels - the other models are on rather small 16s (and pollute 138 g/km).

Although it is much better priced than before, the EX is way too expensive - and to be honest if I wanted a car like that I would want the EX spec - even at the lower prices I don't think it is good enough that you have to go to an EX model before Bluetooth and an auto dimming rear view mirror are standard.

The EX and the S look alot like the old Legend. Very pretty cars.

Surely lower profile tires would be more efficient?

Bigger wheels and wider tyres always increase fuel consumption.
