Buy or not: Olympus Pen E-PL1

    Hi guys,

    Just received email from pixmania, they do Olympus Pen E-PL1 on sale for €349 (down from €499).

    I'm not a photographer by any means, but like taking pictures and experiment at the same time. Currently I'm using two compacts - Panasonic TZ-10 and Kodak Z650. I love taking Macro pictures and anything with shallow depth of field.

    I can't afford to buy SLR, so I thought about one of those mirror-less cameras as inexpensive alternative.

    I got one for my dad quite recently. I've been playing around with it, and am pretty impressed. They're a great little camera.

    He's off to British Columbia tomorrow, so I guess that'll give it a proper test.

    btw- you could easily buy a 2nd hand Dslr no bother for €349
