My house mate is from Mauritious and is extremely petite, Are there any shops that cater more for small girls or even online shops? Most Clothes here dont really fit here. Her shoulders and waist are a lot lot smaller than your average irish girl. I would say she is a size zero she would NOT be classed as curvy and would be 5 foot 3 she would be more of a rectangle figure i suppose (boyish)
She wanted to get boots but on the calf they looked ridiculous the best fitting size looked like wellingtons lol.
I told her to eat more but that doesnt work lol any advice ill pass it on ;)
She would be a lot like the girl in the pic attached .

I have cousin who is size zero and the only clothes shop she found in Ireland with clothes to fit her was Berksha.

    Buy online?

I'm sure there are some Japanese brands and the like that ship to Ireland.

My friend who is very thin and petite usually wears a 6 but they're too big on her, she says Miss Selfridge are good for her because they do 4s. Really the best thing would be kids clothes but that can be a bit embarrassing for the shopper. Some shops have petite lines (I think Topshop do this) but I've never noticed any great difference.

Im petite sizing and currently a size 8. I was a 4-6 at one point (cigs) and rarely did a shop stock anything in a 6 or under.

If she is a zero, I presume you mean the US size? Below is a rough conversion:

    US size 0 = UK size 4/6 (Bust 31-32 Waist 23-24 Hips 33-34
    US size 8 = UK size 12 (Bust 35-36, Waist 27-28, Hips 37-38
    US size 10 = UK size 12/14 (Bust 37, Waist 29, Hips 39)
    US size 16 = UK size 18 (Bust 42, Waist 34, Hips 34)

Shops which do cater for petites are Next, Selfridges, M&S, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, New Look, but you are better to do the shoppin online if you can as its a bigger selection - the shop might only carry a couple of the best sellers in the more popular sizes.

Tell her to check the kids size jeans in H&M, they come in shorter lengths and they're fit for very small frames. I'm a size 6 and 5'1 and thats where I'd buy jeans because they run so small. Next is also quite good, as is bershka and I'm told Pull and Bear. I've got boots in H&M that fit pretty well too (I'm a size 3). Topshop isn't half bad either, they carry a petite line and they run small anyway. After that the best place to check would be online Japanese brands, like Uniqlo.

Berksha is good for very petite sizing, and Miss Selfridge as mentioned. Any shop with a young teenaged type customer base is likely to do smaller sizes.

That said I'm a size 6 rather than 4 and while sixes are hard to get, fours are virtually impossible.
