Going down the N32 and turning right at the junction onto the malahide rd there is several cameras perched ontop of an overhead pole. What are they for exactly? I am assuming they are for monitoring traffic but there is 2 differant types of cameras perched up there. One type in particular has a big square screen which I am…

Traffic monitoring is what I understand them to be - counting the number of cars going into the city (this location is just at the border between DCC and Fingal, remember) and also the density of traffic.

There is a traffic camera in the truer sense of the word, mounted on a very tall pole on the northeastern corner of the N32/R107 Malahide Rd intersection.
