Tailor to shorten suit sleeves

I brought a suit jacket into a well-regarded alterations shop in town to get the sleeves reduced in length.

Even though the sleeve doesn't have working button holes, the woman told me that they couldn't take the sleeves up anymore (she only wanted to just take a tiny bit off the end of the sleeve) because of the buttons. However, I know for certain that it's a relatively straight forward job which any tailor should be able to do. It would be a different story if the button holes were working, but they're just sewn on to give the appearance of button holes.

Any idea where I can go to get this adjustment done?

    Thanks!

Presuming town means Dublin, the tailor above Le Cave on South Anne Street is good.
