Hi, a few days ago my partner was driving my car...He's insured on the car under my name so Im the names driver. But anyway we received a letter stated we'd been speeding & as a result received penelty points. But the date in ques & the time we are 99% sure that my partner would have been the driver, as he has a european licence is not Irish should I still get the points on my licence. Can they see the face of the driver from the speed camera van's or...? I hope u can get me really appreciate anyones' knowledge as I/we are sickened, I have 2 points already & dont fancy another two

You can call the number on the notice and they'll post you a copy of the pic. You can nominate your partner as the driver - once this has been accepted, your liability ceases.
