I am looking for a replacement adapter for my Acer Extensa 5510. According to its spec it says the output is 19V, 4.74A however all the replacement ones on ebay are 19V, 3.42A.

What would happen if i bought an adapter with slightly lower output...

It will power on the laptop but probally not charge the battery while turn on, it might charge the laptop when off but best to get the right voltage as it will only wreak your battery

It will charge the laptop just not as fast as the right powered adapter! :)
