OK not going bet myself on these going to wait till US Open next week but who ye guys fancy???

If I was to bet I go Zach Johnson, YE Yang and Chad Campbell. Toms has great record around here but his price be too small at 10/1 for me..

Italian Open - the two Italians are too short not sure if much value for this one.

Backed graeme storm in a match bet with mc grane on betfair, might lay a few after first round.both tournaments look a bit trappy this week no surprise if outsiders pop up in the winners enclosure.

yeah he doesnt look at ease with himself at all today..but still not far off the lead all things considered.

its poor enough viewing so far.

Westwood for sure! Don't know about laying him you might get away with it but he's going to pick up something over the next couple of months I think

2.6 on karlsson with two rounds to go is very very tight imo..ill be surprised if he doesnt trade higher between now and sunday..laying him at 2.6.

Ya I be studying the form for US Open at the weekend. I prob back about 8/10 golfers win, places, top 10 etc...

Its the only event that I really back more then 4 players maybe because the courses are always so tough and easy to lose a bet in a shot.

Never had winner in US Open, but have had some very nice placed winners. I be happy with that again next week

ive 6 backed so far myself over the last few weeks.

havent had a winner myself..done quiet well trading it last year, but put a dent in the profit with mcdowell winning..didnt think he would close it out coming down the stretch..he was very impressive.

I backed 7 players in it last year and not one was in of contention for place or win going into the final day...

Hope history wont repeat itself next week

Lost my match bet on Storm, hope to get a profit by laying Robert Rock he seems nervous as a kitten and will probably not be able for the pressure,at least i hope he wont.

you have a knack for this laying business
just after you posted he birdies 4 in a row

let me guess you couldn't get your bet on..............

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 628 ✭✭✭albert kidd

backed rock at 4.4..reversing the lot to lay him at 1.8 now.

backed rock at 4.4..reversing the lot to lay him at 1.8 now.

Backed him at 5 on betfair then laid him to guarantee a modest profit.

3 figure profit for the win though

his to chuck now..he'll be a bag of nerves coming down the stretch if one of chasing pack can get to 21 aswell..ive layed him again at 1.3.

luckily my local bookies does 6 places all touneys so looking good for a decent return........regarding Molinari his brutal putting continues to put pressure on his normally super iron play

great ,thanks for asking........posted just 2 golfers out of 156 and both placed........anyone here except you would say that's good picking.

you continue to post lays.......like Rock today with no detail of the price etc....anyone can do that.......but no one can pick the winners out like you and then lay them:D

the best though was a couple of weeks ago when you layed 2 players who both ended up in the playoff...and you said made a small loss that week.....beggers.......

desperate stuff from big karlsson..from being 5 ahead last night at one stage he now goes up the 18th one behind.

    Some call alright.

Heard this morning his best place before yesterday was 14th at the Valero Texas Open and has missed 6 out of 9 cuts this season o_O

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,461 ✭✭✭✭The_Kew_Tour

Whoever were the people that matched Frazer at 899/1 will be happy this morning, even if they layed much of it off.

Aghh you just dont understand laying most of the real action comes with 9 holes to play right up to the end there is little point persevering with you when it comes to laying you probably cannot grasp it.

i can grassp it ok,i can also grasp the fact that you are very good at picking out winners........i mean laying winners.

the most annoying thing is the way you post them up,in such a way that you can bull*hit your way(or so you think)out of your very obvious loses
