Solve this problem for me if you can. Is it possible to have 2 gmail apps for 2 different accounts (i imagine not but no harm in asking!) if not what alternative app would you suggest for the second account?

Not sure if this is what you want but you can add a second account to the one app/widget.

When in your inbox press the you@gmail.com button in the top right corner and then select 'add account'

IIRC, you can sync more than one account in the Gmail app

Accounts and sync will leave you log into a few gmail accounts. Dunno what will do for the market though.

You can use K-9.
it's a fairly decent email app.

That is if you don't want both mail accounts on one app

............ Or you can use the gmail app for your main gmail account and the included email app for another gmail account.
