problems setting up new upc box

    Got an additional box into the house for 1 of the rooms. there had orginally been a box in that room but had been moved to different room.
    Now however, when i try to set up the new box the is no signal. tried calling upc, explained the situation, they then told me the line must be dead. but if another box works on the line, how can it be dead?!????
    i now have to what 3/4 days for somebody to call.
    any ideas?

    Have they activated the card in the new box?
