Ipod sync to second laptop?

Just wondering is there anyway of syncing my Ipod touch to a second laptop but with the same Itunes account? I bought a new laptop after my last one got broke. I've tried syncing the Ipod to the new laptop but it keeps saying that I can only do this by erasing everything off the Ipod and then syncing it to the new laptop.…

All of my music was on the old laptop, so I'm wondering is it possible to have it sync without losing everything thats already on the Ipod. Or is thee a way of backing up everything from my Ipod to the laptop first?

sharepod will take everyhting off the ipod and then import it all to itunes and sync
