iPod not recognised

    Sorry, I'm sure you get these stupid questions all the time but google's not helping me out much. Itunes won't recognise my girlfriends iPod but when I plug it in it still says that it's connected on the screen and I can see it in my computer but I can't put music on it or anything. I'm pretty sure she did the middle button and menu reset already.

    When I go into the ipod through My Computer theres a file called BOOTEX.LOG and that says:
