Here is one to test you guys. If a party took out a 99 year lease in 1958 and died in 1964 what would happen that lease, the building in question was empty for 35 years after that

It depends on where it was stored. I'd guess that it has turned a little yellow and curled a bit at the ends. Otherwise ok.

It's not empty... I've been occupying it for the past 12 years, it's mine now.

    Requires 1 an intelligent question
2 all of the relevant information.

Did the party who died leave a will, was the party married. Was there issue. Was the rent paid? Who preoccupied the property. On what basis?

Have you being paying the rent/observing other covenants? Just curious.

Party had 3 children, spouse deceased kids all minors, no rent paid after death by the children children were left all assets in the will, but at the time no lease could be found, no communication from owners about the property which fell into dereliction. Property now part of a shopping centre.
