Has anyone in Kenagh notices the limescale go soft and disappear from their kettle?

Hi i live in Kenagh and only yesterday noticed that my water in my kettle was all misty! On further inspection i noticed that the limescale buildup, which has always been so prevalent in our water supply has gone soft and can be rubbed off with your finger! Not complaining, just wondering what this is all about and is our limescaley water gone?
