    Hi all,

I was hoping you could help me, I'm meeting a friend for lunch on Sunday. He's from NZ and a great fan of typical "aul man" Irish pubs so would like to find a suitable place - it can't be too dodgy, should have good pub grub but still an authentic Irish feel......I'm not too demanding am I?! :D Any suggestions?! (He's staying near O'Connell St, we won't have our own transport)

I suppose The Oval on Middle Abbey Street is the best in the area.

Good call plus there are a lot of nooks and crannies in the place so you can eat in PIECE
