How do you word a covering letter for summer work?

    Most employers won't hire you if they know you're going to piss off at the end of August, so it's a bad idea to say you're a student, but then you have to explain what you're doing/what you have been doing the last few years...

    I really can't see how you can avoid the subject coming up , your CV will give it away and if by some miracle they don't pick up on it from that then at interview your situation will become apparent.

    I suppose I'll have have to say I've finished uni. I've tried the honest approach and god know's it gets you nowhere.
