Had a listen to her for an hour today, she's filling in for the parachute man.. She's not half bad.. She's a REAL person, not like some of RTE's morning show cardboard cutouts.. She seemed like a breath of fresh air in the same way that Kathryn Thomas did, when she filled in for Tubridy..

Has she done any of this presenting before, she doesnt seem to have any teething problems... it's like she's been doing it for years.. was she on local radio??

Since I know you would hate to be the source of an inaccuracy on the internet, she is actually on Newstalk not Today FM, but yeah she is pretty pleasant and a bit of an improvement on Tom Dunne.

Now in fairness listened back to the first hour from yesterday and then listened to an hour and a half of the two hours today. It baffles me why she is going out with that RTE wireless presenter as if I was tubs I'd be getting the notepad out and taking notes on how someone with little or no radio experience seems to get IT and he after after however many years still appears to not get how to do good radio.

She aint going out with him any more.. She dumped him a few months ago.. he tried to win her back with fizzle sticks, jelly babies and a willy wonka box set.. but she wasnt having it..

Thought she was good again this morning.. I think she is the sort of thing that RTE are looking for between 9am - 10am on Radio One.. pleasant, a bit lighter than than both Morning Ireland and Pat Kenny, but still a bit "intellectual".. much better than Murray already..

Credit where it is due, she is certainly better than Tom Dunne, and likewise with Tubridy, Hector and all. Easy to listen to.
