    EddieHearn Eddie Hearn
Lots of messages re @DarrenBarker82. I'm in talks with @loudibella and trying to make the Martinez fight on October 1st in USA. Update soon

If it happens Martinez will destroy him.

I think destroy would even be an understatement in this case, Barker would have no chance whatsoever.

    Wow

I like Darren, but I fear for his safety here,

But sometimes you have to take the chances when they come, world title fights don't come easy these days

    He'll get sparked though

world title fights don't come easy these days

Collect 10 tokens and pop them in a stamped addressed envelope to qualify for your interbaubel title and earn a top ten ranking.
Having said that, a fight with the concensus number one is not to be sniffed at.

Have to agree with you guys Martinez would give Barker a lesson.
I was told at the weekend that Chavez jnr was next up for Martinez but
It was something to do with the titles at middleweight as Chavez jnr won the WBC middleweight title but Martinez holds the WBC diamond title!

I'd say Freddie Roach will keep Chavez well away from him.

Wouldn't be the least bit surprised considering he'd been handed everything ha has gotten so far without really deserving it...So sick of people claiming he's the business when he's nothing more than a contender with connections...

He gave poor John Duddy a good lesson but apart from that (in the fights) ive watched he has been average at best, and is it a coincidence that it was the WBC title that he got a shot at...I think not...

At the monent theres not a middleweight on the planet who would take Sergio, he's matured perfectly into a superb champion and would take care of JCC jr, Strum & Pirog without any hassle...

Regarding Barker, he'll be beaten easily and convincingly BUT he'd be mad not to take his chance and his payday...nothing to lose but a fight

Well Darren Barker seems to think it's defo on. I think Martinez stops him violently inside 3 rounds
