My dad is letting mr drive his car while he is away. It's a nicer car then mine. His insurane is fully comp and mine is third party. I've a full license. Am I covered under his insurance to drive it or will I have to change over mine everytime I want to drive it

No, you more than likely won't be covered to drive it. But the best way to find out is ring the insurance company. It's not something you want to be chancing in case the worst did happen

I'd imagine you'll have to have your father put you on his policy as a named driver. NEVER assume you're insured on a car unless you have it in writing - our opinions are just that - opinions.

If you put his car on your policy you only have third party cover if you crash your fathers car it will not be covered for any damage you do only the third party
