    Get cast aluminium instead.
There's a reason why cast iron is not used anymore, same reason why horse & cart does not take you to work and we all don't sleep under thatched roofs

    Try an architectural salvage specialist?
Have you a conservation architect employed? They should be able to give you more advice.
If you need a few names send me a pm.

Would the Marley alu pipe sold through Heiton Buckley for one (they will normally have a display) not pass even on a listed building?

according to http://www.marleyalutec.co.uk/catalogue/3/traditional-systems.html they are "Designed to emulate and be fully compatible with cast iron, but with all the advantages of aluminium"

If you look at the displays they really do have the look and feel of cast iron.

    or here for pricing

Saint Gobain PAM UK, supply a traditional cast iron pipe, they can be purchased from local suppliers. I bought mine from J.P Corry in Belfast. You can check out st gobains website
