Commuting from Waterville, Dublin 15

My colleague is looking at moving there, how long would it take to get from Waterville into the city centre usually in the morning and the same on the way home (probably looking to get bus in town about 5.30)

If she needed to be on the luas (green line) before 7.45, what time should she aim to leave Waterville? Is it the 38 that goes from there?

Any advice would be welcome. Thanks :)

Have to get the 38 or the 38A (which now goes a longer way than it used to) The 38B is only service that goes straight on Navan Road now, and thats only outbound in morning peak.

Alternatives are get a 17A to Blanch and a 39 from there but it wouldn't be any better.
