Do these satnavs with digital TV tuner work in Ireland?
If so, does anybody have any experience?

The top of the line Garmin's have a digital tuner (only works if your not driving)
It's on my wish list so not used it yet.

Ops, just re read your question.. sorry don't have that answer.

Yea ive seen it, but im wondering does the tuner work in Ireland?
I have not got a clue what the hell is going on with this free over the air digital tv:confused:
    mpeg 2? mpeg4? freeview? soarview?
Im assuming any sat nav for sale with a tv tuner will be for the UK market? And im pretty sure they are using a different standard than us.

I remember running out to buy the Nokia n 95 cos it had a digital tuner many years ago only to find out it didn't work here, Hell it wasn't even on our version at all.
