From Higher to ordinary yes but from ordinary to higher i'm not sure. You should contact your school just make sure they have a spare HL paper.

You can, but I don't think it should be allowed...people panic on the day and change levels when their head is wrong the place. Consider it more tonight and make a decision, and go with that decision tomorrow if you're thinking of changing.

For LC, you can switch to any level you want on the day, up or down.

Of course , if a whole centre decides to switch, then you may have to wait for papers to be photocopied/brought from another centre.

It must be a right sickener though to switch and find your original exam suited you better. Some subjects have different courses, so watch that.

You can change to whatever level you want BUT if you opt to go up to the HL, look at the paper and say "FTS" you cannot switch to OL.
