I was just wondering is anyone else doing this book for the exam, or has anyone else read it? My english teacher didn't wanna do the typical novels like "To Kill a Mockingbird" so she picked one that apparently no one else is doing?! Help :(

I've read it very recently, what do you need to know?

I'm quite familiar with The Road, it was given to me by an eccentric English teacher (wait, you wouldn't have a <name removed> for English, would you? :O ). What do you need help with?

    Love, death...?

For love, refer to the parent and child relationship, and how they manage to keep loving each other, despite their problems along the way. You could give examples of this, such as when the man teaches the boy to kill himself rather than being captured by the cannibals.

Then there's death in that it's something they face every day, and it's a reality in every walk of their new life, here you could refer to the thief and how they essentially kill him, to prevent themselves being killed.

I'd enjoy writing about death more, but you should do whatever suits you best.
