Free places on UCC courses

    There are free places going on the Certificate in Digital & Creative Marketing course & the certificate in supply chain management in UCC for those on the unemployment register. Even better, people who take the course will retain their benefits and still be permitted and encouraged to continue with the course if they very quickly find a job! Peeps will have to hurry though- Application deadline is the 17th of June.

    If you know someone who is currently unemployed, whisper in their ear that that there are two FREE courses being offered by UCC that could make all the difference... and they could suit those you might least expect! If you are or know anyone who has operations or engineering experience and is currently unemployed, ask them if they realise that operations competences with added know-how in Digital Marketing are much demanded? Technical- and operations- minded people with new-style marketing skills are good news in small to medium-size companies where everyone has to do a bit of everything, and not many people can play the marketing role. Sometimes also in big companies there is a demand for marketing liaison roles. Or start your own consultancy perhaps? Otherwise, consider getting into the growing field of Supply Chain Management. Both courses are free, via the government Springboard scheme, to qualified applicants currently on the unemployment register. And, even better, people who take the course will retain their benefits and still be permitted and encouraged to continue with the course if they very quickly find a job!
