How long more are we going to put up with this ****e from the government? They are only laughing at us. They know we will put up with anything they throw at us, taking more money off us, knowing we won't do anything about it, only just whinge about it. After reading so many posts on the irish economy, all people seems to do is give out, complain and whinge to other people that are working, low pay earners, dole people, etc about taxes, levy charges, etc. Nearly everybody (except the weathly people, bankers) are all in the same situation. Its to the governmant we should be giving out to. We should be out on the street protesting, go on strike, whatever to let them know we are very angry about them, about their treatments to the Irish people, who did not cause this recession, their lies, promises and so on. Action speaks louder than words. But we will do it? nah we won't, we just too scared, we just give out to somebody else instead!

Did you once contact a TD during the (fake) boom to tell them of your dissatisfaction with rising business costs, rising wage pressures, rising cost of living and rising private debt....or were you happy to roll with it so long as your pay kept pace? The Irish people have a lot to answer for in all this too (not absolutely everyone). Not questioning enough at all.

Is this a rant or an attempt to start a constructive debate?

If it is the latter what point for debate is being made that is different from the other threads?

Do you have a specific issue we should rally on?
If I say cut the dole, the 450k on the dole will say no way.
Personally I think our justice system is our most pressing problem.
TV licence non payers and traffic voilations appear to be number one on the radar.
    While corporate crime goes unpunished.
Three people that should be sacked immediately is the head of the DPP, Head of the Gardai and the director of corporate enforcement.
Appoint someone with a pair, I wold march on the streets to oust those three. All FF appointments FYI
