most golf shops carry a small selection of very good 2nd hand clubs, and with the release of new drivers recently, you can generally pick up a very good 2009/2010 club for a great price. If you have a crap one, you can usually get €20 quid off the second hand one too. Usually on, or after the weekend is the best time to buy because thats when people buy most of their new clubs.

You didn't get a good deal ssbob. I sold my 2009 Tour Burner with a custom fitted shaft for less than that recently.

Yes gone through, I had an ad on ADVERTS for the last week looking for one and have been watching the pink pages here in Cork but nothing happening.

    Have you one for sale?

I have a another TM Driver with custom shaft as a back up, if your not committed to your purchase you may be interested. I don't want to ruin the OP's thread, pm if you want.

Golfbidder are a bit dearer than elsewhere but they check all their clubs to ensure they are genuine - to me that is worth a few quid extra.

There are loads of fake clubs on the 2nd hand market at the moment, some are being sold by people who know they are fake (they probably originally bought them from cheap Chinese sites and found out that they didn't work like the real thing), others are being sold by sellers who themselves are unaware they are fakes. I know of two people who have recently been caught out with 2nd hand clubs that are fakes (A Taylormade driver and a Callaway hybrid).
