Fairly simple, looking for a car to rent (preferrably diesel) for two weeks in July. I've tried the majors (Avis, Hertz, Enterprise) but I hope that there might be a good deal with a local company. Can collect the car anywhere, need it for 14 days. Anyone any help?

might be a bit late for you but try www.heritagesportscars.com . could be suitable for part of your trip at least. highly recommended.
