Skype connection problems

    I'm having trouble connecting to skype, staying connected to skype, and contacts are not showing up as online when they are while I am connected.

    This started happening an hour ago or so. I'm not sure it is a local problem. Is anyone else having issues?

    I'm in an apartment with piped internet so I can't configure to router etc.

    I have had this issue temporarily before and it has been fixed by restarting the application. It crashed just before I had this problem today. I tried restarting the application a number of times and restarting the pc. It is still not working.

    Any ideas?

    Skype has gone balls up for the past 3 weeks. Persistent issues with it.



    Poor service tbh.

    Problems with the connection to the download server for reinstalling too.
