Ever done something stupid and in an effort to fix it you did something incredibly stupider? Well I bet it wasnt as stupider as what one Chinese guy did.

    Quote(edited)
Yao, 21, was a student when he knocked over 26-year-old mother Zhang Miao on her bicycle while driving, in the city.
She suffered only minor injuries but, believing she would report him to the police, Yao stabbed her eight times with a knife, killing her, and fled the scene.

He handed himself in to the authorities four days later, accompanied by his parents.
He was tried, convicted and sentenced to death. Sentence has already been caried out.

Yao confessed he killed Zhang because he feared the "peasant woman would be hard to deal with"

Don't say it hasn't gone through all of your minds at one time or another.

If this makes peasant women more reasonable to deal with, then there's the silver lining.

What happens if she looked like a peasant woman but wasn't?

Worse, what if a peasant woman didn't look like a peasant woman and you didn't bump her off - what then?

Using a non existent word 'stupider' is a pretty dumb thing to do too though. Double dumb, when its been used twice in the same post.

I have always found the easiest way to deal with peasant women is to use big words like detrimental and refudiate. They get scared and it's not long before they remember their place in the world. If that doesn't work I just roll up a copy of my beloved Irish Times and give them a jolly good thrashing. yes.

    LONG LIVE PRINCE PHILIP.

Reminds me of the old classic:

A truck driver was driving down the highway when he saw an elderly priest at the side of the road. He stopped to give him a ride. Further down the road the truck driver saw a lawyer along the side of the road, and turned the truck on a direct course to hit him.

Then he thought, "Wait, I have a priest in the truck. I can't run down that lawyer."

So at the last second the truck driver swerved to miss him. Although he thought he hadn't hit the lawyer, the truck driver still heard a thump outside of the truck. He looked in his mirror and saw the lawyer laying unconscious on the side of the road.

Ashamed for what he had done, the truck driver turned to the priest and said "I'm so sorry Father, I really tried to miss that lawyer."

The priest said, "Don't worry son, I got him with my door."

Peasant women would probably be unimpressed by your use of a word that doesn't exist.

I always get a massive urge, when driving slowly down the street to give a cyclist a slap on the back of the head!

I really really do!!.. The real annoying ones that cycle two abreast or weave stupidly on a narrow street so you can't get passed them--- those are the ones I want to mow down.

cyclists are absolutely permitted to cycle two abreast. it's an absolute right. more than two is not, but two abreast is explicitly allowed by the law (i couldn't be bothered searching but i know i'm right).

and the weaving is almost certainly done to avoid potholes and cracks on the wonderful streets of dublin/dundalk/anywhere in Ireland rather than just to annoy you (cos annoying a driver is a surefire way to having them pass you dangerously).

you are meant to pass cyclists with as much room as you would pass a car (ergo you shouldn't be passing them on very narrow streets)

get over to the cycling forum with your complaints and see how far you get. cretin.

    This was a while ago.

It's not the first time someone has killed someone after they hit them here, the fine for killing someone will usually be far cheaper than the expenses needed to pay for inuring them.

Don't know if this made the news here but last year a bmw driver was famously caught on camera running over little boy again after he accidentally hit him, just to make sure he was dead.

A worrying sign of the way things are going here.
    Life is cheap.

Yes I also get the urge to hit things that annoy me, but luckily I'm an adult in 2011. Not a caveman.

I'd also like to mention it would be very height of cowardice for any of you to smack someone from the safety of your car and then drive off, it would in fact make you a scumbag.
Regardless of the fact that it is cool in Ireland to hate cyclists.

Back to OP, the irony is that "Peasants" are not troublemakers like the article suggests, it's the middle to upper-class here.
They believe they rule this world, that anyone not like them is ****, and they feel no remorse or empathy for the people that actually make up this country. They are born with silver spoons in their mouths, subjected to "little emperor" syndrome from a young age and taught that they are number 1 by their clueless, nouveaux riche parents.

Man **** this place, pisses me off sometimes.

    Yup, it's useless generally.
