It does say £5 sterling oddly.. hopefully doesn't apply only to UK.

    But looks legit!
To get your FREE £5 Lidl Voucher you have to:
    - Send an e-mail
    - between Friday and Sunday
    - with the information if you have received a Lidl leaflet in the current week
    - with your own unique ID Number
    - for 5 weeks
    - to leafletcheck@lidl.ie
And we will post you your FREE £5 Lidl Voucher.

Than why is the offer on the .ie website and why would you have to send an email to a .ie email address?

Clearly ROI only, unless Lidl have messed up domains/ email setup big style

.IE is for the whole of Ireland not just Republic. So not clearly ROI only.

    Wasn't aware of that

    That been going on long?

Clearly that's not gonna work though, is it? I mean browse to lidl.ie and expect prices in EUR, not Great British Sterling like they use up north. If you google Lidl Belfast, it points to lidl.co.uk as I would have expected...

Since its existing iirc. When you went the very first time you were asked if you wanted ROI or NI on a welcome page, so you probably weren't asked again unless you wiped the computer. The new re-brand site is a little different, you select the little box in the top right corner.

I've seen the NI/ROI question button, Davy. My question was not about the lidl website in particular but more about the .ie domains that might refer to businesses in the UK. First time I've heard about northern companies using .ie urls.

E.g. a company that I've been in contact with several times over the last few years is Traynors car dismantlers in Armagh. They've always used a .co.uk url.

Until the north is part of Ireland again at some point with the same currency, using the same .ie is not gonna work, is it?

.ie costs about 40 times as much as a .co.uk and lidl do have a .co.uk
