Hi guys, I had a problem with my car recently, there was a loud squeek from the back suspension.

its a 2005 lancer, factory standard, no modifications at all.

everything is perfect with the car, except this problem.

I took it to the garage I bought it from, they checked it out, and told me the rear suspension arm needs to be replaced.
Its wear and tare, so its not covered under my warranty.

I accepted this, paid 270 euro, and had the problem fixed 2 weeks ago.

    details are in this thread.

Today, I drove from clonmel to Youghal, and the problem has returned.

Since I picked it up in the garage 2 weeks ago, Ive driven to dublin on the motorway and back, and around town.

Im a safe and slow driver, and I dont speed over holes, bumps, ramps etc etc.

What in the hell could have caused this?

Im bringing it back over to the garage in the morning, do ye have any advice on how to approach the situation?

I feel like going over, throwing the keys at them and giving out **** over paying them nearly 300 quid to fix something and it seems they replaced something that had nothing to do with the problem in the first place...

    But i wont do that...

    any suggestions?
    cheers.

I'd start by seeing what they say when they look at the car?

Perhaps a link to the thread you had before about this problem would be a help, to save people asking all those questions again. It was like pulling teeth the last time.

    rang the garage this morning,

    and his response was...

bring it in, and we will look.
if its the suspension arm we replaced, then its under 12 months warranty.

but it might be the other side of the car.

i asked him why they didnt check that out when i brought the car in, he said because it didnt make a squeek when they pushed up and down on the car.

    im fuming over it.
