Good idea for a thread :)

I'm Joe, I'm in Gaillimh, and go to an All-Irish school :) I play hurling, and do a bit of Windsurfing! Will listen to any music, but Coldplay, Muse and The Temper Trap would be up there with the best! I love Music, Maths and Business (yes some people think I'm mad). Hopefully i'll get 5A's and 5'B, but anything could happen :)

    Hi.

I'm not doing my Junior Cert (LC 2011 tbh) but Slow Show is the best JC poster ever.

    Goodbye.

    ps. Good Luck :)

Just as a heads up, since most users of the forum are under-age, please be very careful about posting photos or personal information.

Will you be as happy in ten years time for a potential employer to find what you are posting?

    The name is Cakes :pac:

I like Photography, Politics, Family, Comedy, Gaelic football and a bit of all types of music.

I really like the Irish language and even though I'm not fluent I try to speak it as much as I can.

    I like to help people.

I second all of this. Except Im only a TYer

Also, yee should dig up that off topic thread for chatting, the JC ledges of '10 had a great one going last year! :pac:

I'm gonna agree with soccy and deise on the awesome-ness of Slow Show and also agree with deise on the off topic chat; it was the source of many great late night conversations.:)

But back on topic: I'm a previous JCer from last year and may have stuck my head in here occassionally to see how ye're getting on. Good luck!:)

    I'm Luke.

I'm from Dublin, I like every sort of music from screamo to dance. Inside I'm a true tech geek but you wouldn't think that from looking at me. I live, sleep and breath technology. I love discovering the engineering process that has gone in to what we all use today. :p

People always assumed I was a bit stupid, but my mocks results shut them up. ;)

I'm stressing about the JC now because I'm afraid I haven't studied as much as I should have. (Took too much advantage of the nice weather) I see the JC as only a test ride for the LC and I don't know if I should or not.

Oh and I've recently cut my hair and I hate my new haircut. u_u :L
I don't have a picture on hand, but I'll get one up as soon as! :)

    EDIT: I'm 15 too btw. :)

    I'm Fatrat.

As you can see, I'm actually a rat.

..... Oh yeah, I'm also fat.

I'm Eoin (as you can see!) I'm from the real capital (Cork), I'm 15, I love hiking and the mountains in general.

So I hate languages, and love anything mathsy.
I told myself all year that I wouldn't get stressed about the Junior Cert and for the last two nights I've been having nightmares about it Do'h!

    I'm Ciarán, from Cork, I'm 15, and I'm a skinny little **** :)

I wonder is FC 3 set in Africa? Would love if it was. It somewhat reminded me of the setting in Blood Diamond (minus Leonardo diCaprio's terrible African accent!). Looks really good though.

Ditto!!! I had to convince my mother I was doing Studyhub in bed on the laptop and stayed up to watch it!! The next year is going to be very expensive for me (and hopefully my parents lol) with the Vita, 3DTV and loads of epic exclusives!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 80 ✭✭innovation.

Was more interested in Apple's WWDC conference but seen the PSVita which looks really good. Quad-core, 5 inch O-LED screen and a 'touchpad' on the back. It's only going to be €250 too so not a bad price. :D

Btw I like how there's discussion about E3 the night before English. :D

I hate these but I thought I'd join in for the craic. I'm Rút, 15 from Cork. I have a weird obsession with teeth (I love perfect straight white teeth, it's very strange. My friends think I'm mad) and I love music even though I can't play anything. Favourite bands/thingys are Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks, The Beatles, Ellie Goulding and... The Smiths.
I love films as well, my favourites are 500 Days of Summer, Never Let Me Go and anything with Audrey Hepburn.. I love fashion and I waste all my money on clothes.. What else... Well some people mentioned gaming, I'm awful at it. I do like Bioshock and Left 4 Dead though. I'm unreal at Hexic on the Xbox live arcade.. I love the sims and animal crossing.. Wow! :L that's a lot!

I'd post a picture but I'm too lazy but I'm fairly sure there's a link to my facebook somewhere in my profile so you can use that if you want to see my beautiful face :L

    1. Awesome games. I quote bioshock frequently...
    2. I saw your facebook page and your beautiful face ( ;) ). See I've got a mutual friend. Say hi to Mairín for me :P (I did a radio show with her on college radio last year)

Jaysus, "write, or not to write?"

Anyways, i'm Mikolaj, few days till 16th birthday. Been living in this country for ee I can't remember, long time anyway. Come to think - I have quite a few hobbies hobbies. Travelling(not in a van, around the world), languages, books, good aul' movies. I'm also a collector and modeller of cars, trucks and trains. I spend me money on it.

I don't like them social-networking sites and rap music. There's plenty more thigs but I'd say I already have a lot of enemies as it is :D .

O yes, I live in New Ross. There's not that many scumbags here, really! :D

Just thought I'd pop in late and say :

    SKYRIM.

Aaanyway, I'm Fionn, as you've guessed by my brilliantly creative username :P I love to swim , surf and generally anything associated with the water. At the moment, I struggle to study as I bought Minecraft , which is amazing but insanely addictive. Hoping to do well enough in the aul' JC. I love Rammstein, Muse, Hurts and various other bands, really I love any type of music :D
    That's it.

Hi, I'm Tiffy from Dublin. I'm a 15 year old girl and absolutley adore maths, art and physics. I <3 Boards.ie, which I only just discovered, and The Script ARE THE BEST band in the world!! I do like Kings of Leon, Coldplay and Eminem also though! I also love the old playstation games, they're the best!! Crash Bandicoot is possibly my favourite although I do like war and action games especially those which allow me to blow peoples heads off!! Freaking out over the JC as I'm addicted to old shows such as Buffy The Vampire Slayer and FRIENDS and kind of made it my mission to see all the episodes... :)
