    St Nicholas Abbey got lucky in the Coronation. Doesn't rate him a good horse.

    I would agree there to an extent that he got lucky as I do think Quelley threw it away tbh. Midday was travelling the best of the field when Quelley let her go too soon, a bit strange considering she has plenty of speed over 10f, a massive error judgement by him. St. Nic is still a good horse but if Tom held her for a furlong longer she probably would have won imo.

    Don't think Midday fully stayed/St Nic needed every yard. Wouldn't back him over anything less than 12 at the minute to be honest. Didn't handle the course by the looks of it,was very game to come back to her though.
