Forum Request - Roman Catholic subforum

I read the Christianity mods messages about registering a request about creating a RCC subforum in the Forum Requests section of the board, on several threads in the Christianity section of Boards.

I went to the Forum Requests Section of the Board and lo and behold I can't register a request because I don't have sufficient privileges to do so.

Therefore I am registering a request here - to grant me access to the Forum Request section - so that I can register my request that a subforum for Roman Catholics be created.

(If I've broken a rule so be it. But the Forum Request section will not allow me to register my request there).

If a Catholic forum is not allowed, at least a Catholic Mod should be

I think that it is a reasonable request, QV.

    Are you volunteering?

Not necessarily, what about yourself ?

Heh. It's funny how rehearsed and planned this barrage of new threads appear.

P.S. You're doing it wrong. If you and others continue to ask for new mods or new forums in this way then you're doing the complete opposite to helping your cause.

I don't think that I am impartial enough to be a moderator.
I don't have a sufficient understanding of all things RC to be able to adjudicate
on matters of RC teaching for one thing.

But there are plenty of RC posters who have a much better grasp of the issues of doctrine etc to be able to moderate and to do a good job at it, I think.

I tried to access the Forum Request section to register my request.

I don't have sufficient privileges to allow me access to that section of Boards.

I don't think you have to be theologian as such, just someone who can tell the difference between debating the actual issue in a civil fashion, and off topic ad hominem, mis representation and trolling.

Go into the forum requests forum again, and read the announcement at the top of the forum. (Hint.)

Nobody has had permission to start new threads there since last October. It's not an anti-Catholic conspiracy.

What denomination are you btw ?

    Yeah, odd that.

    Here is the deal folks.

    1) Stop starting threads about a Catholic forums and a sub-forum. These threads belong on Forum Requests. If Forum Requests is no longer accepting applications then your luck is out.

    2) Stop sending me PM's requesting/ demanding a Catholic mod be added to the forum. Mods are based on their ability to enforce the charter, not on denominational adherence.
