Superquinn Assessment Centre...

    So I will be attending the Superquinn Assessment Centre this week but I don't really know what to expect as I've never gone through an assessment centre before in my previous jobs. Has anyone been at a Superquinn assessment day?

    Does anyone have any tips/advice for me?

    I went to one of them over a year ago. There was around thirty people in one room. We had role playing and group disscussions.

    They basically want to see how well you interact with people and stuff. It went on for over three hours so be prepared for that. There was a break for tea/coffee. At the end of it you'll be called in for an interview.

    Hi Scarydoll,
    Yeah the assessment was pretty much the same as you described, though there were only 13 people in attendance. I think 4 different stores were recruiting. How did you get on, just out of curiosity? How long did it take to hear back from them? I had my assessment on Wednesday morning and I know that they called my references on Wed afternoon as they called me for an alternative number for one of my references.

    Its sucks playing the waiting game now, my patience is really being tested lol:P

    I will be doing this on Wednesday. Not really sure what to expect either! What kind of role playing is involved? I am kind of nervous about the references too, as my references wouldn't be the best! Are they really strict about it?

    It all seems so complicated for a part time job.
