No, are they the cheaper, non-dimpled, 404 clinchers, sold as "special edition's" in 2008 iirc?

Or are they the normal, dimpled surface ones?

These are the dimpled ones, E1500 or E1600 new me thinks.

I'll put good pics up after lunch and you can see then.

Here is a couple of pics, note that the stickers have been removed as I don't advertise other peoples products for free. The zipp name is moulded into the carbon and both wheels have zipps bar code for tracking.

    Hi Scrotumologist

Is one a 2009 model and the other is 2010? 10 or 11 speed cassette?

Do you have the original receipts?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14 scrotumologist

I don't have the original reciept, but the zipp agent in ireland serviced these wheels for me in the past and the rims are 2008 and 2009 ridden in 2009/10 for the front and 2010 for the rear. The reason the rear is newer is because it was replaced by zipp because the previous rim broke. I haven't ridden these wheels in 2011. Rear wheel is practically new and cassette us 10

I'm gona throw in an original zipp wheel bag for these wheels, single padded bag with compartmentsfor both wheels and pockets for the bits 200+Euro in shops.

    Where are you located?
Do you know if the hub could easily be changed to Shimano?

You can get a cassette and slide it on quite easy, if you have one I can transfer for you, new or from another wheel, location is Galway, but I travel to races around t country each week.

I'm pretty sure you'd have to replace the freehub to change to shimano.
Probably cost 150-200 euro +a cassette.

I'll offer €550 for the wheels only. Without the bags or cassette.

I'd need to get 600 for the wheels, even at that its great value for money. Wheels are 1800 new with cassette or free hub as u call it without any sprockets(ie 11-21 or whatever spread you want).

The free hub does need to be replaced to convert to Shimano (this is different to the cassette).

I'll also offer asking, if it falls through with warp speed.

BTW, this is the freehub link that's needed.
