replacing an oil fired gas boiLer - budget cost

    MOthers gaff needs a new one of the above can anyone advise me roughly how much for materials and labour. Had one guy tell me about 2 grand all in aboub 1500 for materials and 500 for labour

    Sounds about right with out looking at it. Is it an oil boiler? In the heading you have oil fired gas boiler!!

    Could pay that for the boiler, but it's an average price for an average boiler change.

    Yes Oil boiler don't know what I was thinking mentioning gas......what is deal if its a diesel fired burner, tank is about half full at moment, can diesel or kerosene be used in the newer burners???

    Afraid they only work on Kerosene. Will smoke like a chimney if on Diesel.
