I thought it was up to the supervisor
I was told by my Principal and Vice Principal that the supervisor can choose not to let you do the sit the exam if you're not in your full uniform

Nope, it's the schools decision on uniform or not.

We dont have to anyway. Its not as if they will throw you out for not wearing uniform. I dont think that the supervisor has anything to do with the uniform.

We have to wear our uniform but I am wearing a tracksuit pants anyway. Much more comfortable.

It's usually up to the school. Their building, their dress code.

If the school leaves it up to the superintendent, they generally like uniform (if there is one) for the first day as it's easier identify candidates before faces are put to numbers.

We have to wear uniform, which is pretty stupid in my opinion. Surely we have enough on our minds without looking for a tie in the mornings!
