The story behind it is not so nice. It's about the Cyprian town of Famagusta, which was captured by the invading Turkish army in '74. The people living there were forced to leave their homes and all their belongings (obviously including those brand new cars) behind and the town has been sealed off since.

Famagusta is still accessible....its the suburb of Varosha which has been locked up......there are other dealerships here too, Mazda, another Toyota dealer and Rootes...but Ive seen no photos of these.............Its possible to get in but the army will throw you out again......
