    What is the recommended response?
Tried telling them to go away but obviously, kids these days don't give a toss.

The gardai probably won't be able do anything since they are only kids, but should we call them anyway??

I don't want to get thrown out of our apartment over broken/scratched windows, so I don't see why I shouldn't do something!

The advantage of reporting it to Gardai is that a record of your complaint will exist if your landlord accuses you of damaging the windows.

Yeah true, but I have a feeling I'll call them and they'll just laugh it off...and I see why, it's stupid. But it's tiresome putting up with it when you're trying to relax, and also, like I said.....Responsibility of the property.

Nah, you know what kids are like these days....One finger on them and all of a sudden you're a murderer.

Report it to the Gardaí; it's the only sensible thing to do.

Dunno of one in the area, any way of finding out?

Also, thanks everyone, I have decided if it happens tonight, I will go to the Guards.

Find out where one of them lives and break their windows ..

Go up to them and roar at them and when they go running home knock on their door and kick up a fuss with their parents and let them know that if the window gets broken they'll be the ones paying for it, that will most likely sort it out.

The guards don't give a toss and won't do anything about it, when i lived in finglas there was a foreign couple that lived down the road who got the windows of their house and car broke on a daily basis simply because they were foreign, they were also physically intimidated by these scumbags who were 17 and 18, absolutely nothing was ever done by the guards so i don't see why they would do anything about young kids.

Take a picture/video of them and give it to the gardai.

Phone the station and ask who the Community Garda is for your area. Contact them and ask them about ASBOs.
