What word would you ban from Irish mainstream media?

Why would we be banning words? We should be uncensor-ing.

i think baning it is a bad idea because how can people pass on info easily without talking about there page on facebook or twiter. it is better if people can pass around info so we can find out whats going on :p

    Freedom.

It's not banning the words, it's banning promotion. So something like "I saw on facebook that xxx is doing whatever" would likely be against it, but "there's another privacy scare on facebook" would be okay.

What I love most about the French is how they manage to piss off the world by being so self-assured. It's great! And the best of it is, that no matter how much anti-French drivel and stereotypes is trotted out by the world, they don't give a ****e - they're great and they know it :D

Ah the french throw wobblers for nowt!

From Ireland, I'd ban IMF, EU Bailout. I'd ban the fcukers from coming near the country and ban it from the news.

Would force people to use "Feelings for teenage schoolgirls" instead of "recession" and listen to liveline while giggling with glee.

did you even read the article lol? its banning them from newcasts only. and this has been the law for years that they cant promote/advertise during news casts... i guess they are just extending it to these two now

like they wont be able to say "follow francenews on twitter" but they can use it as part of a story...
