Without knowing your requirements its hard to recommend one.

Do you really need 'the best there is' or would something cheaper not suffice?

personally, i'd go with a linksys E3000 using a 3rd party custom firmware like tomato, openwrt or ddwrt to enhance it's features.

having said that, it depends very much on what you plan to use it for and how much you're willing to invest in the rest of your network devices to make the most of it as to whether it would be worth the time, expense and effort for you.
