Robbie Keane - Well Done

Last night Robbie Keane set a new record by becoming the first soccer player from the British Isles to score 50 International goal. This is a fantastic achievement and I just wanted to create this thread to pay tribute to Keane. Some might saying this belongs in the soccer forum but I disagree because this isnt necessarily about sport, this is about someone who has excelled in his field of profession.

Of course there will still be people here who wont give Robbie credit, who will just throw abuse at him and disregard his achievements. Its a pity because he is a top professional and gives his all for his country. Keane is a great ambassador for the game in Ireland and I for one would just like to say well done and thanks for the memories Robbie.

Yeah fair play to him, always gives it socks and really does try for Ireland despite his lack of technical ability.

Its nice that even in these dark times Ireland still has a few things to be proud of.

I genuinely think that if Ireland reach Euro 2012 that it might gives the country something to smile about.

It will be a sad day when he retires from international football. He's done alot for the Ireland football team.
